We started Parties at Sea after I had been a yacht charter captain for some years, and noticed that there was a demand for yacht charters captained by people experienced in the event and party planning industry as we could take a bare boat rental and make it into an unforgettable experience.
Departing from Marina del Rey, CA, we are able to take guests all around Santa Monica Bay, from Malibu through Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Venice, and the Bay Cities to Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Captain Darryl Aken holds a 100 Ton Masters Certificate from the U.S. Coast Guard, and has had over 40 years’ experience operating boats from 55 feet to 18 feet in the Pacific Ocean from Vancouver Island , Canada to Los Cabos, Mexico, and Many Points in Between.
That, plus 10 years in the event industry makes Capt. Darryl well qualified to run Parties at Sea.
